Iraq at Carassauga Festival of Cultures
Iraq at Carassauga Festival of Cultures
Each year, the Iraqi Canadian Society proudly represents Iraq at Carassauga, one of Canada’s largest multicultural festivals held in Mississauga. Through vibrant displays of traditional music, dance, food, art, and cultural exhibits, we share the rich heritage and enduring spirit of the Iraqi people with thousands of festival-goers.
Our pavilion is a celebration of identity and connection — brought to life by passionate volunteers, performers, and community members who work together to create an unforgettable experience. From folkloric performances to handcrafted décor and authentic Iraqi cuisine, we invite visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty and depth of Iraqi culture.
Carassauga is not just a festival — it’s a moment of pride, visibility, and unity. Join us each May as we celebrate what it means to be Iraqi Canadian in the heart of one of Canada’s most diverse cities.
